Adam in 2024: From Europe to Australia, Multi-Million Investments, New Professions, and Massive Growth

The Adam platform has had a groundbreaking year. It expanded beyond Europe for the first time, secured an investment of €3 million, and doubled in size—both in revenue and team. The company’s turnover surpassed €8 million, confirming the growing demand for digitized trade services. Thanks to rapid execution and innovation, Adam continues to transform the trade services industry. In 2025, the platform aims to expand even further, both internationally and into new trades.

The European platform Adam has made a significant impact in Ireland in 2024, operating in six cities, with its strongest presence in Dublin and Cork. The company has also seen stable demand in Limerick and Galway, while Waterford and Wexford are showing promising growth. Adam’s renovation services further strengthen its position in the Irish market, complementing its core focus on digitizing trade services."

Beyond Ireland, Adam expanded outside Europe for the first time, launching painting services in Perth, Australia. It also introduced a new vertical—electricians—in a record-breaking three days. The platform’s rapid growth is further confirmed by surpassing the €8 million revenue milestone.

"This year has been pivotal for us in many ways. Launching a new vertical brings us closer to our goal: allowing anyone to build an entire house easily and stress-free with Adam. The successful expansion to Australia proves that the challenges in the trade industry we see in Ireland are global, and our solution is the right one," says regional manager Martin Zajic.

In 2024, Adam focused on further expansion and improving existing services. By the end of the year, the platform operated in 82 cities. In addition to strengthening its European presence, the company opened a new office in Hyderabad, India to support its international growth.

"Expanding to Australia was a huge step for us—it’s the farthest country from the Europe. After testing multiple countries worldwide, we chose Australia due to its promising results. Given the time zone differences, we searched for the best solution and decided to build a team in India, where there is an abundance of talent and a working schedule closer to ours. We also believe that having an Indian team will serve as a gateway to other countries in the region. Exciting times are ahead," explains Zajic.

Beyond painting, Adam also focused on renovations and launching a new vertical this year. Full-scale renovations, following last year’s expansion, are now available in over 10 European cities, with demand rapidly increasing. The electrician vertical has successfully completed its pilot phase, and both renovations and electrician services are set for rapid expansion in the coming year.

"I’m thrilled that the pilot in Prague was a success, and we are seeing organic demand from other cities. Following our approach with painting services, we plan to test expansion—starting with the Czech Republic, then Ireland, and beyond. Our goal is aggressive growth, aiming to be active in 10 countries by the end of June, both in renovations and with electricians," Zajic comments on the expansion.

Adam’s strong performance in 2024 also secured a €3 million investment from the UK-based Brighteye fund, which focuses on startup investments. This funding will fuel the company’s ambitious expansion plans for 2025.

Adam also plans to use the investment to optimize and automate internal processes. "We started working on the first version of our internal system in December, and we are already testing it. We aim for a full transition as soon as possible this year. In addition to the system, we’re focused on improving the overall quality of our final product and raising the standard of services available in the market. We continuously gather client feedback to refine and simplify our solutions," says Zajic.

"Every year, we push the boundaries of what’s possible. This year, we proved we can expand not only within Europe but also to new continents. In 2025, we plan to accelerate our growth at least threefold and further improve our service to make it as simple and efficient as possible for both customers and tradespeople," concludes Zajic.
